About Donna J. Bays
Donna J. Bays is known statewide for her expertise in divorce and child custody cases. She was awarded the 2015 prestigious Gale Phelps Award, given to one attorney each year to honor the highest level of competence in the area of family law, exceptional service to the profession, and high ethical standards. With more than 20 years of family law experience, Donna knows that litigation can feel like walking through fire. For clients in emotional turmoil, Donna can serve as the calm voice of reason. She is a skilled negotiator who knows how to hammer out a deal.
Donna has a detail-oriented, analytical mind. She can analyze exceedingly complex situations. Donna believes that most cases are won or lost on the basis of preparation. While the case is pending, she helps clients position themselves for success. As a graduate of the National Institute for Trial Advocacy, Donna knows her way around a courtroom and uses her trial skills to get your message across. Donna also enjoys serving as a Parenting Coordinator and Guardian Ad Litem in high-conflict cases.
